ADHESIVE/SEALANT
2100. CLEAR. 30 SHORE A.
This
non-slump, one-part silicone cures to a tough elastomer when exposed to
atmospheric moisture at room temperature. It will adhere without a
primer to many clean substrates such as aluminum, stell, glass, wood,
silicone rubber, and many plastics.

WHITE. 40 SHORE A
GT-1350.
SALMON. 45 SHORE A
A
series of addition-cure silicone rubber compounds designed for making
flexible molds that feature low durometer and are easily stretched off
parts. Ideal for repetitive production of intricate shapes cast in
epoxy or urethane resins, potting electronic components, protecting
sensitive assemblies against thermal shock and vibration, and as optical
coupling adhesives.

|
|
|
GT-5092.
LIGHT PURPLE. 25 SHORE A
GT-5316.
OFF WHITE. 45 SHORE A
A
series of condensation-cure silicone rubber compounds designed for making
flexible molds that feature low durometer, high tear strength, and low
viscosity. Resistant to sulfur clays, amines, butyl and chlorinated
rubbers, and other condensation RTV silicones that would inhibit the cure of
addition-cure RTV rubbers. Fast and slow catalysts available.

GT
SILICONE THINNERS
Clear,
oily polydimethylsiloxane fluids are inert and odorless. Available in
viscosity grades of 50 and 100 cps. For moldmaking purposes, add
thinner to the mixed rubber to lower hardness of the rubber and reduce mixed
viscosity. With the addition of silicone thinners the strength of the
rubber decreases; therefore, it is not recommended to use more than
ten-percent fluid into the moldmaking rubber.

Mold
Release Systems
|
|
MR
#1
Used
in applications that require non-transfer of the release agent,
high-temperature stability, abrasion resistance of the released film.
This film is micro-thin, stable, and becomes functional immediately after
cure. A water thin liquid ready for use as supplied.
|
|
|
|
MR
#2
PVA RELEASE FILM
Highly
recommended as a parting layer between water-free polyester or epoxy resins
and mold surfaces. Allow to dry to a smooth glossy film. Film
residue on parts can easily be rinsed with water. Not recommended to
be used with phenolics or urethanes.
|
|
|
|
MR
#7
SEALER
Developed
to work as a sealer in aluminum, polyester, or composite molds/tools, and
protect their working surfaces. Excellent control of microporosity in
various mold types, effective protection of mold surface, and fine
detailing, greatly enhance multiple cycle capability of release
agents. Not recommended for silicones and waxes.
|
|
|
|
MR
#10
HIGH-GLOSS, NON-TRANSFERRABLE
Specially
formulated for processing reinforced polyester using metal, composite, or
polyester molds/tools. Excellent release of polyester resins from
various mold types. High gloss finish, yet no "fish eyes",
easy to apply, rapid room-temperature cure. Low-viscosity single
component offers no mixing or pot-life limitations. Multiple release
capability. No mold build up, no transfer or migration, and no
silicones or waxes.
